Srinagar, Sept. 26 -- BJP leader and former Member of Parliament Jamyang Tsering Namgyal has sought an impartial judicial, transparent and time-bound inquiry into the violence in Leh that left four people dead and dozens others injured.
The former MP wrote to Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta urging him to initiate a credible dialogue process with all stakeholders.
In his letter, the former MP of Ladakh said what began as a peaceful democratic expression had turned tragic, shaking public trust after firing on unarmed protestors. While condemning violence and arson, he stressed that the crisis could have been handled with greater patience.
