Jaipur, Sept. 23 -- Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has urged Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to persuade Naresh Meena, who has been on a hunger strike for 12 days demanding enhanced compensation to the families of those who died in a school building collapse in Piplodi-Jhalawar, to end his protest fast.
The former CM wrote on his X handle on Tuesday: "Meena's cause (of agitation) is undoubtedly noble...he wants the state government to pay more compensation to families of the deceased in the Piplodi school building collapse.
