Dhaka, Dec. 7 -- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and two-time former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's transfer abroad for advanced treatment has been delayed further, with her personal physician and BNP member Dr AZM Hossain stating that the flight will be greenlit once the medical board is confident that she is stable enough to travel.

Speaking to reporters outside Dhaka's Evercare Hospital, Hossain clarified that her flight postponement was not really as much an issue of logistical readiness, but was rather one of physical fitness, as the BNP chief's health has been worsening, making matters extremely uncertain.
