Gorakhpur, March 3 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday directed officials to ensure that all eligible individuals, who have not received permanent houses, are provided the same under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana.
The CM issued the directive while listening to the housing problem of a woman at the Janata Darshan, which was held in the auditorium of Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in the Gorakhnath temple complex. "No poor person should be left homeless," he said.
He asked the officials to deal with the woman's issue with empathy. The Janata Darshan was attended by about 500 people.
