Vijayawada, April 4 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Friday instructed the Medical and Health officials to initiate an action plan to ensure that every assembly segment in the state should have 100 to 300-bedded multi-speciality hospitals.

In the 175 segments, already 70 hospitals are existing with a capacity of 100-beds or mode and immediate steps should be initiated to construct multi-speciality hospitals in the remaining 105 constituencies, the Chief Minister said. Chandrababu also made a suggestion that these hospitals can be built and managed on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) system and a policy can be formulated on the lines of industry to provide subsidy to those organisations that come forward.
