Liverpool, March 4 -- Everton F.C. snapped their winless run at the Hill Dickinson Stadium with a commanding 2-0 victory over Burnley F.C. in the Premier League.

Former Burnley defender James Tarkowski returned to haunt his old club, heading Everton in front in the 32nd minute with his first league goal in over a year, as per the Premier League website.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall doubled the advantage on the hour mark to seal a deserved win for David Moyes' side.

Tarkowski rose highest to meet James Garner's pinpoint free-kick, powering his header beyond goalkeeper Martin Dubravka. Garner almost turned provider again before the break when Jarrad Branthwaite tested Dubravka with a header.
