Bengaluru, Feb. 21 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, who also handles Bengaluru development, faced sharp criticism on Friday after admitting that even divine intervention would not solve the city's traffic crisis in the near future.

Shivakumar, often accused by the opposition of being a "part-time Bengaluru Development Minister," stated, "Even if God himself descends from heaven and walks on the streets of Bengaluru, nothing will change within one, two, or even three years."
