Washington, Nov. 26 -- Eva Green has officially joined the cast of the hit Netflix series Wednesday for its third installment, Deadline reports.
She will portray Aunt Ophelia, a troubled member of the Addams family who was shown only from behind in the final moments of the Season 2 finale.
Her casting marks the first major addition to the upcoming season, which was greenlit earlier this summer ahead of the Season 2 premiere. The reveal also puts an end to fan speculation surrounding the mysterious character, including theories that Lady Gaga's Rosalyn Rottwood might be Ophelia Frump.
