Chennai, Sept. 10 -- Electric two wheeler maker BNC Motors plans to ramp up its production and exports this fiscal by several folds, said a top company official.

"We plan to roll out about 10,000 units this fiscal and ship out over 50 percent. We are looking at newer markets for our models," Anirudh Ravi Narayanan, CEO and Co-Founder, BNC Motors told this writer.

According to him, the company rolled out about 3,000 units and exported about 500-600 units.

When asked about the quantum jump in his export target for this fiscal Narayanan said the company is exploring newer markets apart from shipping to African and Sri Lankan markets.
