Kolhapur, May 23 -- State Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that setting up new ethanol projects would help diversify the sugarcane processing sector and provide new economic opportunities in the sector.
Inaugurating a new ethanol projects of Dudhganga cooperation sugar factory at Bidree in Bhudargad tehsil of this district, Pawar said that producing ethanol, not only brings in more income but is also an important stage for producing alternative energy.
With justifying of the modern path of the cooperative sector, Pawar while praising the new project, said that such projects will accelerate rural economic development in the area.
