Itanagar, Dec. 2 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik has extended warm greetings to the people of the State, especially to the Divyang brethren, on the eve of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
In his message, the Governor said the day should deepen public understanding of disability-related challenges and inspire stronger collective support to enable persons with disabilities to face life's difficulties with hope, dignity and confidence.
He observed that the greatest barrier for any individual is often not a physical limitation, but the emotional and mental constraints imposed by society and circumstance.
