Equal opportunity must be given to BRS if govt makes assembly presentation: KTR

Hyderabad, Jan. 1 -- : Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K. Taraka Rama Rao on Thursday demanded that if the Telangana government proposes to make a PowerPoint presentation in the Legislative Assembly, the principal Opposition must be given an equal opportunity in keeping with parliamentary democratic norms.

Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan, KTR said that once members enter the House, there is no hierarchy between the Chief Minister and other legislators. "All 120 MLAs have equal rights on the floor of the Assembly. If the government presents its version, the Opposition too must be allowed to present facts," he said.
