Chennai, Nov. 1 -- AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of the OppositionEdappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) today laid bare the anti-party activities andduplicity of veteran leaders former minister K.A. Sengottaiyan, accusing himof having long aligned himself with the ruling DMK and betraying the idealsof Party Founder MGR and J.Jayalalithaa.
"If Amma (Jayayalithaa) is alive, he would not have been made an MLA. Hisactions over the last six months have shown where his loyalties lie," he toldreporters at Salem.
EPS recalled that farmers' organizations had conducted a felicitation eventfor the successful implementation of the Athikadavu-Avinashi Project, anon-political initiative benefiting thousands of farmers, which he was proudto attend.
