Mumbai, Oct. 10 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Police has recorded the statements of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, in connection with an alleged Rs 60 crore financial fraud case.
Investigators questioned Shetty for nearly four and a half hours, while Kundra underwent his second round of interrogation, during which he attributed his business losses to the 2016 demonetisation policy.
Kundra told EOW officials that his home shopping and online retail venture, Best Deal TV Private Limited, which dealt in household and electrical appliances, suffered major setbacks after the demonetisation move.
