Srinagar, Dec. 4 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch Kashmir filed a chargesheet in a land-fraud case allegedly involving a businessman and two retired officers of revenue department , officials said on Thursday.
The chargesheet was produced in 2022 FIR which was registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B Ranbir Penal Code read with Section 5(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
The EoW said the chargesheet was filed in Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Srinagar against Habibullah Bhat, a businessman from Omarhair Buchpora; Mohammad Rajab Reshi, retired Naib Tehsildar from Brein Nishat; and Syed Khurshid Ahmad, then Patwari, from Watalbagh Lar, Ganderbal.
