Lucknow, Oct. 22 -- Urban Development and Energy Minister AK Sharma today said that Chhath is a significant festival deeply rooted in faith and public sentiment therefore, all necessary arrangements must be completed on time to ensure devotees face no inconvenience.
During a review meeting with senior officials of the Urban Development and Energy Departments at his camp office to assess the preparations for the upcoming Chhath festival, the Minister emphasised that cleanliness, fogging, spraying of disinfectants, leveling of ghats and adequate lighting must be ensured at all Chhath venues.
