Lucknow, July 14 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today assessed the impact of recent heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh, stressing that public convenience is the government's top priority. He directed officials to take swift and effective action.
Highlighting the situation, the Chief Minister noted that many areas in the state have witnessed intense rainfall, leading to severe waterlogging, road damage, and a significant rise in river water levels.
He stressed the need for constant monitoring and instructed all departments, municipal bodies, development authorities, and district administrations to immediately streamline drainage systems and ensure swift removal of stagnant water from affected areas.
