England to welcome Ireland for 2026 women's ODI series
New Delhi, July 30 -- England will host Ireland in a three-match women's ODI series in September 2026 as part of the upcoming ICC Women's Championship cycle, the ICC confirmed yesterday.
The series will be played shortly after the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026, which is set to take place in England and Wales. All three ODIs will be held in the Midlands region, with matches scheduled at Leicester, Derby and Worcester.
The fixtures are as follows: the first ODI to be played at Leicester, September 1, second ODI at Derby, September 3 and third at Worcester, September 6. All games of Ireland will contribute to the points table of the ICC Women's Championship, which serves as the qualification pathway for the 2029 event.
