Nagpur, Jan. 22 -- England's Ben Mayes smashed a monumental 191 off 117 balls as the side registered a 252-run demolition of Scotland in the Under-19 One-Day International here. Mayes, who struck 18 boundaries and eight sixes, helped England post a record-breaking 404 for 6, the highest total in U-19 ODI history, before bowling out Scotland for 152.
Put into bat, England lost Ben Dawkins early, but a 188-run partnership between Joseph Moores (81) and Mayes laid the foundation. Thomas Rew and Caleb Falconer added valuable runs, while Sebastian Morgen accelerated with a brisk 11-ball 24 at the death to push England past 400.
