Adelaide, Dec. 9 -- England have confirmed that Mark Wood has been ruled out from the remainder of the Ashes tour Down Under.
The experienced pacer will be missing the next three games in the ICC World Test Championship series against Australia owing to a recurring left-knee injury.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), a statement from the England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed that Wood will return home later this week and will work closely with the ECB medical team on his rehabilitation and recovery.
