London, Dec. 3 -- After a snub in the ECB central contract list, England's young all-rounder Will Jacks is looking to make the most of his future opportunities to seal a spot in next year's ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024.

Jacks has featured across three formats in his nascent career and has been assigned the role of an opener in the upcoming ODI series against West Indies.

"It's always important that you are given the confidence that you are going to be in the team no matter what," Jacks said. "Even if I fail on Sunday, it won't matter, I'll have another chance to go and have a crack at it in the last two games."
