Kolkata, May 22 -- Indian engineering goods exports started the new fiscal 2025-26 on a positive strong note and clocked 11.28 percent year-on-year growth in April with shipments to key markets such as the US, UAE, UK, Singapore, Brazil and Australia witnessing high double-digit growth, according to EEPC India.

Engineering goods exports to the US grew 17 pc year-on-year to US$1.66 billion in April this year compared to US$1.42 billion in the corresponding month last year.

Shipments to the UAE jumped 37.3 pc to US$538.8 million in April 2025 as against US$392.5 million in April 2024.
