Kolkata, Nov. 18 -- After recording positive growth for four consecutive months in the current fiscal year, engineering goods exports from India declined sharply in October 2025, reflecting the impact of punitive tariffs imposed by the Donald Trump administration, according to EEPC India.
Engineering goods exports fell 16.71 percent year-on-year to USD 9.37 billion in October 2025, as compared to USD 11.25 billion in October 2024. However, the cumulative export number has remained positive, thanks to reasonably good performance in the first six months of the current financial year, EEPC India chairman Pankaj Chadha said today.
