Dharamshala, Sept. 28 -- While many youngsters head to big cities and multinational companies after completing their studies, Shakti Dev, a resident of village Diktu, Panchayat Jhiol in Dharamshala block of Kangra district, chose a different path, returning to his ancestral fields.
A Polytechnic Engineer in double stream, Shakti initially worked in the private sector but left his job in 2012 to take up farming. "Perhaps the smell of my soil, the love of my parents and the passion to achieve something through hard work brought me back," he recalls.
