Hyderabad, Dec. 14 -- Telangana CPI State Secretary and MLA Koonamneni Sambasiva Rao today welcomed the High Court's remarks on the need for regulating working hours and ensuring job security for IT employees and demanded that a comprehensive law be enacted for their welfare.
In a statement, he said that although software professionals are often seen as white-collar employees, many of them are forced to work excessively long hours, leading to severe mental stress and lifestyle-related diseases at a young age.
