Shimla, Sept. 9 -- The Himachal Pradesh government today decided to hold in abeyance its notification scrapping Rule 7A from the Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2022, following protest from employees.
Under Rule 7A, staff employees whose Pay Band or Grade Pay had not been re-revised after the 2009 Revised Pay Rules, would have had their pay calculated by multiplying the basic pay as of December 31, 2015 by factor 2.59.
Following the directions of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the notification issued on Friday to remove the rule woud be held in abeyance.
