New Delhi, March 21 -- Employability for new-age jobs requiring technical, cognitive and language skills in India is merely 1.7 per cent on an average, according to a report.

According to Aspiring Minds National Employability Report, only 3.84 pc of engineers have the technical, cognitive and language skills required for software related job in start-ups. Additionally, a mere 3 pc engineers have new-age technological skills in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science and Mobile Development. On aggregate, the employability for new-age jobs is on average 1.7 pc.
