Patna, June 7 -- Countering Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's allegation of 'match fixing' in elections, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Samrat Choudhary said that the real fixing happened during the Congress rule, and Election Commissioners were rewarded for it.
Chowdhary said here on Saturday that those who lose speak such rubbish. He alleged that match fixing used to happen during the Congress rule, when the Chief Election Commissioners were immediately rewarded after retirement for their loyalty to the ruling party.
Samrat asked Gandhi to explain whether appointing two former Election Commissioners, out of the seven Election Commissioners who were there during the Congress rule from 1967 to 2009...
