Election Commission delists three registered unrecognised political parties in Meghalaya

Shillong, Oct. 14 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has delisted three registered unrecognised political parties that have registered addresses in Meghalaya, an election officialsaid today.

These three parties - Meghalaya Democratic Party, North East Social Democratic Party and Regional Democratic Secular Congress - were among the list of 474 registered unrecognised political parties that were delisted across the country.

These political parties would be taken off the list of registered political parties of the ECI, an election official said.
