Bahraich, Jan. 1 -- A tragic hit-and-run incident occurred late at night in the Dargah police station area of Bahraich, where a speeding car rammed into three members of a family, killing one and critically injuring two, as they were sitting outside their house warming themselves by a bonfire, police said on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sundar Lal Yadav (65), a retired orderly of a former District Magistrate and a resident of Ashrafa village in Parsoura. His wife Pooja Yadav (45) and son Ambrish Yadav sustained serious injuries and are undergoing treatment.
