Prayagraj, Sept. 9 -- A couple died after the wall of a kutcha house collapsed in Meja police station area of Prayagraj district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said today.
Police sources said the incident took place around 11.40 pm last night when the deceased Ahsan Jama Khan alias Mallu Khan (62) and his wife Salha Begum (55) were sleeping after having dinner with their grandson Sajeeb Khan.
Police sources said the wall of the kutcha house of their neighbour Sajarul Haq collapsed.
The couple died on the spot in the accident. Their grandson Sajeeb Khan was seriously injured. He has been admitted to the hospital, they said.
