Bokaro, Dec. 1 -- An elderly couple was found brutally murdered late Monday night in the Hurlung police station area of Bokaro district, sending shockwaves across the locality.
The victims, identified as Mahavir Saw (65) and his wife Kaushalya Devi (60), were discovered dead inside their residence at Joshi Colony near Bali Hotel.
According to police sources, the couple hailed from Chidri, Chatrochatti, but had been residing for many years at Gate No. 3, Sector-9, Joshi Colony in Bokaro, where they ran a small shop selling ration items and tea-pakoras.
The incident came to light on Monday morning when regular customers arrived at their shop for breakfast and found it unusually closed.
