Unnao, Dec. 28 -- A domestic dispute turned tragic in PD Nagar, Kotwali Sadar in Unnao, when a 27-year-old man allegedly attacked his younger brother, leading to the latter's death, police said on Sunday.
Police said the incident involved Shivam Soni (27) and his younger brother Satyam Soni (24), sons of Ganesh, residents of PD Nagar. A disagreement between the siblings escalated, and in the ensuing confrontation, Shivam allegedly attacked Satyam with a knife injuring him critically.
Family members immediately took Satyam to the district hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Following the incident, Shivam fled the scene, and police have launched a search for him.
