Patna, Sept. 5 -- Elaborate security arrangements have been made in view of the upcoming festivals of Ganesh Chaturthi, Milad-un-Nabi, Anant Chaturdashi, and Vishwakarma Puja across the state.
According to ADG (Law and Order) Pankaj Kumar Darad, security has been tightened for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, being celebrated throughout the state, while Anant Chaturdashi and Vishwakarma Puja will be observed on September 6 and 17.
According to him, any religious procession would be allowed only after obtaining a licence from the local administration. Playing DJs has been completely banned during processions," he added, noting that additional security forces have been deployed in all districts.
