Mumbai, Sept. 13 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today strongly condemned the remarks of Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on a viral video showing Nepal's Finance Minister being assaulted. Raut had remarked that such incidents can happen anywhere.
Shinde condemned the statement as unfortunate and unpatriotic, questioning whether some people in India wished for Nepal-like anarchy. He demanded strict action against those attempting to disrupt national order.
