Pune, May 3 -- Senior citizens living in old age homes, as well as differently-abled individuals, should be able to obtain Aadhaar cards easily so they can benefit from various government welfare schemes, said Maharashtra Minister Madhuritai Misal during a programme organised by the Creative Foundation here on Saturday.
She stated that both the Central and State governments have introduced several welfare schemes for senior citizens and stressed that not only destitute elderly people, but all senior citizens, should take advantage of these initiatives.
