Hyderabad, Nov. 12 -- Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said that systematic and scientific measures were being taken to salvage the damaged Medigadda, Annaram, and Sundilla barrages of the Kaleshwaram project.
Chairing a review meeting at Dr B R Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on Wednesday, he assessed the progress of rehabilitation works and coordination with the Central Water Commission (CWC), an official statement said.
The Minister said the government's foremost priority was to restore the barrages responsibly to safeguard the massive public expenditure incurred under the previous BRS regime.
