Efforts may fail, but not prayers, says Shivakumar amid rotation buzz
Mysuru, July 4 -- Amid mounting speculation over a possible change in Karnataka's chief ministership, Deputy Chief Minister and Congress state president D K Shivakumar today reiterated his faith in divine blessings, saying, "Efforts may fail, but not prayers."
He made the remark during a temple visit to Chamundi Hills in Mysuru, accompanied by his family.
Shivakumar, seen as a strong contender for the top post under a proposed power-sharing formula within the Congress, offered prayers to Goddess Chamundeshwari, stating his visit was for the good of the state and its people. However, he avoided directly addressing questions on a leadership change, saying instead that he would abide by the decision of the Congress high command.
