Jammu, April 2 -- Stating that the Indian Army continued dominating the Line of Control, official spokesman here on Tuesday said the Indian Army effectively responded to the unprovoked firing by the Pakistan.
"On Apr 1, 2025, a mine blast occurred in Krishna Ghati Sector while the Pakistan Army was patrolling along the LC," said the spokesman in a statement.
He said, "This was followed by unprovoked firing and ceasefire violation by Pakistan Army," adding, "Own troops responded effectively. The Indian Army continues to dominate the LC. The situation is under control."
Earlier, Indian Army said the mine blast occurred due to Pakistan Army's intrusion across the Line of Control in Poonch district.
