New Delhi, Dec. 23 -- : In a major boost to South Delhi's infrastructure, the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) has cleared three long-pending and critical projects aimed at easing traffic congestion and addressing chronic waterlogging in the area.
The projects, to be executed by the Public Works Department (PWD), involve a combined investment of over Rs 759 crore and are expected to deliver signal-free traffic movement, enhanced road capacity and improved flood management for thousands of daily commuters.
The EFC has approved Rs 371.75 crore for the construction of a new two-way Modi Mill Flyover and the doubling of the existing Savitri Cinema Flyover, along with capacity augmentation on the Outer Ring Road corridor. The project is sch...
