New Delhi, April 30 -- England women's team head coach Charlotte Edwards says her team is determined to make the most of home advantage as they prepare to host the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, starting June 12.
The last time England hosted the tournament in 2009, they went on to win the title, becoming the first-ever champions. Edwards, who led the side back then, said the current team understands the importance of the opportunity in front of them, especially after a disappointing group-stage exit in the 2024 edition.
"I think we're a very different team. We're coming here to win it. We know it's going to be really hard," Edwards told Sky Sports.
