New Delhi, Sept. 26 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at nine locations in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam targeting an llegedly illegal surrogacy racket run by Pachipalli Namratha, also known as Athluri Namratha, purportedly under the name of Universal Srusthi Fertility and Research Centre.
The searches led to the seizure of incriminating documents related to the racket, including details of couples defrauded by Namratha and records of properties in her possession.
