New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Bengaluru Zonal Office today said that it has carried out search operations in a case involving K.C. Veerendra and others for allegedly cheating the public through illegal online betting.
The agency seized 24-carat gold bullion weighing 40 kgs, valued at approximately Rs. 50.33 crore, from two lockers in Challekere.
This latest seizure adds to assets worth Rs. 103 crore confiscated earlier, which included 21 kgs of gold bars, cash, gold and silver jewellery, bank accounts, and high-end vehicles. The total seizure in the case now exceeds Rs. 150 crore.
