Kolkata, Oct. 12 -- The Enforcement Department (ED) has seized Rs 45 lakh in cash and various incriminating documents of properties and digital devices during massive search operations in the premises of West Bengal Fire Department minister Sujit Bose in relation to alleged irregularities in appointments at the civic bodies.
The ED, probing the money trails in the civic bodies alleged scam, on Friday had raided at least 13 locations in and around the city and parts of North 24 Parganas in the properties of Sujit Bose and some others, including minister's son Samudra Bose's bar and dhaba on VIP Road, and seized incriminating documents, including property documents, digital devices and unaccounted cash of Rs 45 lakh.
