Lucknow, Dec. 13 -- Raids by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which began early Friday morning, continued at numerous locations across the country when reports last came in today evening.
The searches, launched as part of a money-laundering probe into the multi-state codeine cough syrup trafficking racket, targeted 25 premises linked to the alleged syndicate operating across Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Gujarat.
According to ED officials, the coordinated action covered locations in Lucknow, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Saharanpur, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad.
