New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently conducting extensive search and seizure operations at 18 premises across Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, and Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh.
The raids, which began early this morning, targeted the locations of vendors, contractors, and middlemen connected to an alleged misappropriation of funds from the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMF).
The action is based on allegations that a huge amount of DMF funds, intended for the welfare of mining-affected areas, was illegally diverted and misappropriated through the 'Beej Nigam, Chhattisgarh'.
