Bengaluru, Aug. 22 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today conducted extensive raids on the house and companies of Chitradurga MLA KC Veerendra Pappi, who is also related to actor Dodanna.
The raids were part of a money laundering investigation and covered 17 locations across Bengaluru, Challakere, Chitradurga, and Goa.
ED officials examined documents at Pappi's private apartment in Vasanthnagar and his residence in Sahakara Nagar. Simultaneous searches were carried out at the residences of his brothers, KC Nagaraj and KC Tippeswamy, in Challakere.
A team of over ten officials conducted the raids in three Innova vehicles starting at 5:30 am. Pappi was reportedly in Sikkim at the time.
