Agartala, Aug. 26 -- In connection with a business fraud involving a senior bureaucrat of Tripura government, Enforcement Directorate (ED) today launched raids across four locations in Tripura.

The prime accused of the crime, Utpal Kumar Chowdhury, a resident of Khayerpur in Agartala, nephew of CPI-M state committee member and former minister Pabitra Kar, has already been in ED custody for over a month, and based on his input, raid was conducted in the state.

According to sources, ED officials also questioned Kar about Utapl.
