New Delhi, March 23 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Hyderabad Zonal Office, on Monday said it has attached movable and immovable properties worth Rs 17.97 crore belonging to Bharati Builders, its partners, their family members, and others in a case of cheating homebuyers and investors.
The ED initiated a PMLA investigation based on an FIR registered by the EOW Police Station, Cyberabad, Telangana, against Mulpury Sivarama Krishna, Dupati Naga Raju, Doddakula Narsimha Rao alias Ponnari, and others under Sections 406 and 420 of the IPC, 1860, and Section 5 of the Telangana Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, for allegedly cheating homebuyers in projects launched by Bharati Builders.
