New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today said that its Mumbai Zonal Office has attached assets worth Rs 307.16 crore in the case of Fairplay, which is involved in alleged illegal broadcasting and online betting activities.
Provisionally attached assets include movable assets in the form of bank balances and immovable assets in the forms of lands / villas, flats located at Dubai (UAE).
The ED initiated PMLA investigation based on the FIR (first information report) registered by Viacom18 Media Pvt Limited with Nodal Cyber Police, Mumbai against Fairplay and others for allegedly causing loss of revenue of more than Rs.100 crore.
